1[13-B. (1) The superintendence, direction and control of the conduct of all elections to the municipalities shall be vested in the State Election Commission. ] 2[(2) Subject to sub-section (1), the Chief Election Officer (Urban Local Bodies), referred to in sub-section (2-A) of section 12-B shall supervise the conduct of all elections to the municipalities. ]
