Limitations of powers conferred by the previous section.

§80

Summary

80. The provisions of section 79 shall be subject to the condition that the Municipality shall not, without the special sanction of the 1[State Government] , grant to any officer or servant or to his family a pension, annuity or gratuity greater in amount than that to which he or it would have been entitled, under any general or special orders of the 2[Central Government], 3[or State Government] if the service qualifying for the pension, annuity or gratuity had been service under 4[That Government] for the same time, on the same pay, and in other respects of the same character.

80.
