Jurisdiction of Civil Courts

<span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><b>13-K.</b> (1) No Civil Court shall have jurisdiction-<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(a) to entertain or adjudicate upon any question whether any person is or is not entitled to be registered in an electoral roll of a ward; or<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><b>¹[</b>(b) to question the legality of any action taken by or under the authority of the State Election Commission in respect of preparation or publication of electoral roll or <b>]</b><br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(c) to question the legality of any action taken or any decision given by the Returning Officer or by another officer appointed under this Act in connection with an election.<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(2) No election shall be called in question except by an election petition presented in accordance with the provisions of this Act. <br>
