Additional duties of the President

§51

Summary

51. It shall also be the duty 1[and power] of the 1[President]- 2[(a) unless 3[provided otherwise by this Act or] prevented by reasonable cause, (i) to convene and preside at all meetings of the board, (ii) 4[ * * * * ] (iii) otherwise to control in accordance with any regulation made in this behalf the transaction of business at all meetings of the board ; ] (b) to watch over the financial and superintend the executive administration of the board and bring to the notice of the board any defect therein ; and (c) to perform such other duties as are required of, or imposed on him by or under this 5[or any other] Act.
