(1) There shall be constituted as Senate of the University. The Senate shall consist of the following members-- (i) Chairman, Sam Higginbottom Educational and Charitable Society, Allahabad---- Chairperson (ii) Chancellor, Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences------ ViceChairperson (iii) Vice-Chancellor of Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences------ Member Secretary (iv) President/Bishop or his nominee, Yeshu Darbar Church, Allahabad------- Member (v) Vice-President, Yeshu Darbar Trust --------Member (vi) Vice-Chairman, Sam Higginbottom Educational and Charitable Society, Allahabad-------- Member (vii) Executive Secretary, Sam Higginbottom Educational and Charitable Society, Allahabad------Member (viii)Treasurer, Sam Higginbottom Educational and Charitable Society, Allahabad-------- Member (ix) General Secretary, Yeshu Darbar Church----- Member (ix) Treasurer, Yeshu Darbar Church -----Member (xi) One nominee of the President, Yeshu Darbar Church------- Member (xii) Two nominees of the Chairman, Sam Higginbottom Educational and Charitable Society----- Member (xiii)Two nominees of the Chancellor ------Member (2) All the powers of the management of the University shall vest in the Senate; and the appointment of Chancellor, Vice-Chancellor, Treasurer, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Directors, Registrar, Finance Comptroller and other Key Officials shall be made by the appointing authority. For such appointments, the Senate shall decide honorarium/salary, etc.
