98 [@/B@ 41. Every Gram Panchayat shall, within such period and in such manner as may be prescribed, prepare a statement of the estimated receipts and expenditure of the 9 [ Gram Panchayat ] for the financial year commencing on the first day of April next following which shall be passed by the Gram Panchayat by a simple majority of the members present and voting at a meeting of the 9 [ Gram Panchayat ] and the quorum for such a meeting shall be more than half of the total number of the members of the 9 [ Gram Panchayat ].]
