111The prescribed authority may, the when required by the State Government, shall make bye-laws for a Gram Panchayat within its jurisdiction consistent with the Act and the rules made thereunder for the purpose of promoting or maintaining the health, safety and convenience of persons residing within the jurisidiction of a Gram Panchayat and for furtherance of administration Gram Panchayat under this Act.
