5[12-B. (1) A Gaon Panchayat shall ordinarily meet for the transaction or business at least once every month but two months shall not intervene between two consecutive meetings : Provided that the date to be appointed for the first meeting of a Gram Panchayat, shall be within thirty days from the date of its constitution.
