Disqualification from participating in Board’s proceedings

<span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(1) A member of the Board or of a committee appointed by the Board who-<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(a) has any share or interest of the nature described in clause (e) or clause (f) of sub-section (1) of section 7 in respect of any matter, or<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(b) has acted professionally in relation to any matter on behalf of any person having therein any such share or interest as aforesaid,<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>shall not, notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (2) of section 7, vote or take part in any proceeding of the Board or of its committee relating to such matter.<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(2) If any member of the Board or of its committee has directly or indirectly any interest in any land situated in any area comprised in any of the schemes framed under this Act, or in any area in which it is proposed to acquire land for any of the purposes of this Act, he shall not take part in any meeting of the Board or its committee in which any matter relating to such land is considered. <br>
