(1) No court shall take cognizance of any offence punishable under this Act except on the complaint of or upon information received from, the Board or an officer of the Board duly authorized in this behalf, within six months next after the commission of the offence. (2) No court inferior to that of a magistrate of the First Class shall try any offence punishable under this Act.
