The State Election Commission may, if it thinks it necessary so to do, for the purposes of general of bye-election, direct a revision of the electoral roll for all or any of the wards in such manner as it may think fit : Provided that subject to other provisions of this Act, the electoral roll for the ward as in force at the time of issue of any such direction shall continue to be in forced and the completion of revision so directed.]
