94. (1) The 1[Zila Panchayat] may require the Adhyaksha or the Mukhya Adhikari and the 1[Kshettra Panchayat] may require the Pramukh or the Khand Vikas Adhikari to supply or produce at any of its meetings :- (a) any return, statement, estimate, statistics or other information regarding any matter pertaining to the administration of the 1[Zila Panchayat] or the 1[Kshettra Panchayat], as the case may be; (b) a report or explanation of any sub-committee ; and (c) any report, correspondence or plan or other document or a copy thereof which is in his possession or control as Adhyaksha, Pramukh, Mukhya Adhikari or Khand Vikas Adhikari, or which is recorded or filed in the office of the 1[Zila Panchayat] or the 1[Kshettra Panchayat], as the case may be. (2) The Adhyaksha, the Mukhya Adhikari, the Pramukh of the Khand Vikas Adhikari, as the case may be, shall comply with every requisition made under sub-section (1) without unreasonable delay. (3) Nothing in this section or in any other provisions of this Act shall be deemed to prevent the 1[Zila Panchayat] or the 1[Kshettra Panchayat], from making provision authorizing the asking or question by members at its meetings subject to such conditions and restrictions as may be prescribed.
