72. The Karya Samiti may exercise and shall perform such powers, duties and functions as are - (i) required to be exercised or performed by it or by under this Act ; (ii) specified in the second column of Schedule IV and against which the words "shall be exercised by the Karya Samiti" have been entered in the third column of the Schedule ; and (iii) delegated to the Karya Samiti by the 1[Zila Panchayat] under section 57 : Provided that the Karya Samiti may delegate, such of its powers, duties or functions to any sub-committee established under section 75 or to any officer of the 1[Zila Panchayat] as may be prescribed by rules.
<span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><b>72.</b> The Karya Samiti may exercise and shall perform such powers, duties and functions as are -<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(i) required to be exercised or performed by it or by under this Act ;<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(ii) specified in the second column of Schedule IV and against which the words "shall be exercised by the Karya Samiti" have been entered in the third column of the Schedule ; and<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(iii) delegated to the Karya Samiti by the <b><sup>1</sup></b>[Zila Panchayat] under section 57 :<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>Provided that the Karya Samiti may delegate, such of its powers, duties or functions to any sub-committee established under section 75 or to any officer of the <b><sup>1</sup></b>[Zila Panchayat] as may be prescribed by rules.<br><br>
