(1) The Authority may constitute standing or ad hoc committees consisting of either wholly of members of the Authority or wholly of other persons, or partly of members of the Authority and partly of other persons, for any purpose or purposes consistent with the provisions of this Act, to assist the authority in the discharge of its functions. (2) The terms and conditions of the non-official members of the committee or committees constituted under sub-section (1) shall be such as may be notified. (3) The committee or committees shall perform such functions as may be entrusted to them by the Authority from time to time.
