(1) This Act may be called the Uttar Pradesh Area Development Act, 1976. (2) It extends to the whole of Uttar Pradesh. (3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may by notification appoint in this behalf and different dates may be appointed for different provision of this Act and for different areas.
