181. (1) A sanction given or deemed to have been given by a board under 1[section 180] shall be available for one year or for such lesser period as may be prescribed by bye-law 2[unless it is extended by the Municipality for a further period up to one year]. (2) After the expiry of the said period the proposed work may not be commenced except in pursuance of a fresh sanction applied for and granted under the 3[same] sections.
