1[25A. Planning Board.- (1) There shall be Planning Board consisting of the following members, namely :- (i) the Vice-Chancellor ; (ii) ten members who shall be either academician or experts from various fields or sitting or retired Judges of the Supreme Court and High Court to be nominated by the Executive Council on the recommendation of the Vice-Chancellor. (2) All the members of the Planning Board, other than the Vice-Chancellor, shall hold office for a term of three years. (3) The Planning Board may design and formulate appropriate plans for development and expansion of the university, and in addition advise the Executive Council and the Academic Council on any matter which it may deem necessary for the fulfilment of the objects of the university. (4) The Planning Board may constitute such other Committee as may be necessary for Planning and monitoring the programmes of the university. (5) The Planning Board shall meet at such intervals as it deems expedient, but at least once in a year.
