Where any transfer of land or of any interest therein, whether by sale, gift, exchange, mortgage, lease or otherwise, or partition of land is invalid under any of the provisions of this Act, the acquisition of such land under such transfer to or partition shall also be invalid and the person acquiring the land shall be liable to the consequences in section 120 or 122, as the case may be.]
