Whoever , being entrusted with any work or performance of any duty pertaining to a public examination, wilfully neglects any work or duty which is required to be performed by him and which may result in the question paper being leaked before the public examination or the conduct of the public examination to be prejudiced, shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which shall not be less than two years but which may extend upto seven years and with fine.
