(1) A vacancy arising either due to recalling of a Director under section 19 or disqualification under section 33 or due to death, resignation, or by any other reason shall be filled up by nomination in the prescribed manner. (2) The term of office of a Director or the Chairperson of a Water Users’ Association, nominated under sub-section (1), shall be co-terminous with the term of the Managing Committee.
