(1) In the area delineated as an area of operation of Canal Level Association (CLA) under section 13, a Canal Level Association shall be constituted by the Distributary Level Associations. Such Association shall be registered in the prescribed manner. (2) All the Distributary Level Associations, represented by the Directors of the Managing Committees of the Distributary Level Associations, under the command of Canal Level Association shall constitute the General Body of Canal Level Association and have right to vote and elect the Managing Committee of the Canal Level Association in such manner as may be prescribed. (3) After the operation and maintenance of the delineated area is handed over to Canal Level Association, water supply to water users in such delineated area shall be through the respective Canal Level Association.
