(1) The State Government may, on request, depute its employees to a water users’ association in such manner as may be prescribed. (2) The water users’ association may hire / appoint any person to carry out day- to-day work related to office/field at wages as approved in the form of pay and/or food grains. (3) The remuneration and allowances and other service conditions of office bearers as well as of regular employees of water users’ associations shall be such as may be prescribed.
