Water shall be supplied by the Irrigation Department to the distributary level water users’ associations measured volumetrically at supply point. The competent canal officer and the water users’ association shall jointly check the discharge at the beginning of each crop season. Such joint measurements of discharges may also be made at other points of time if so required for correct assessment of water delivery to water users’ association during the fasal period. Water charge shall be impressed at the end of each crop season fasal wise.
