(1) This Act may be called the United Provinces Nurses, Midwives, AssistantMidwives, 1 [Auxiliary Nurse-Midwives and Health Visitors] Registration Act, 1934. (2) It extends to the whole of 2 [Uttar Pradesh]. (3) It shall come into 3 force on such date as the 4 [State Government] may, by notification in the 5 [Official Gazette] direct.
