The 1[State Government] may at any time after the expiry of one year from the date on which Parts I and II come into force, by notification published in the official Gazette, apply the provisions of this Part or any portion thereof to the whole or any part of the 2[State] from such date as is notified therein : Provided that the 1[State Government] shall give wide publicity to the notification in such other manner also as it deems proper
