The Secretary Level Committee under sub-section (1) of section 7 of this Act may carry out an inspection of the university as and when directed by the Government and shall also verify and ensure compliance of the requirements relating to the establishment of self-financed private universities and such committee shall also verify and ensure compliance of the provisions of the relevant laws for the time being in force.
