Board of Management.

§28

Summary

(1) The Board of Management shall consist of the following members, namely:- (a) the Vice-Chancellor; (b) two members of the Governing Body, nominated by the sponsoring body; (c) two Deans of Faculties, by rotation, to be nominated by the Vice-Chancellor; (d) three persons, who are not the members of the Governing Body, nominated by the sponsoring body; and (e) three persons from amongst the teachers, nominated by the sponsoring body. (2) The Vice-Chancellor shall be the Chairperson of the Board of Management. (3) The powers and functions of the Board of Management shall be such as may be prescribed by the Statutes. (4) The Board of Management shall meet at least once in every two months. (5) The quorum for meetings of the Board of Management shall be five.

<span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(<i>1</i>) The Board of Management shall consist of the following members, namely:-<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(<i>a</i>) the Vice-Chancellor; <br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><i>(b)</i> two members of the Governing Body, nominated by the sponsoring body; <br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(<i>c</i>) two Deans of Faculties, by rotation, to be nominated by the Vice-Chancellor; <br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(<i>d</i>) three persons, who are not the members of the Governing Body, nominated by the sponsoring body; and <br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(<i>e</i>) three persons from amongst the teachers, nominated by the sponsoring body. <br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(<i>2</i>) The Vice-Chancellor shall be the Chairperson of the Board of Management. <br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(<i>3</i>) The powers and functions of the Board of Management shall be such as may be prescribed by the Statutes.<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(<i>4</i>) The Board of Management shall meet at least once in every two months.<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(<i>5</i>) The quorum for meetings of the Board of Management shall be five. <br>
