(1) The Commission shall maintain proper accounts and other relevant records and shall cause to be prepared an annual statement of accounts in such form as may be prescribed by the Government in consultation with Accountant General. (2) The accounts of the Commission shall be audited by the Accountant General, Uttar Pradesh, or any officer authorized by him in this behalf at such intervals as may be specified by Government and any expenditure incurred in connection with such audit shall be payable by the Commission to the Accountant General. (3) The copies of annual statement of accounts of the Commission together with the audit report thereon shall be forwarded to the State Government, (4) A copy of the annual statement of accounts of the Commission together with the audit report thereon received by the State Government under subsection (3) shall be laid before each house of the State Legislature.
