(1). This act may be called the Uttar Pradesh Water Management and Regulatory commission Act, 2014, (2) It extends to the whole of the State of Uttar Pradesh. (3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may by notification, appoint. (4) The provisions of this Act shall apply notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in the Uttar Pradesh Water Supply and Sewerage Act, 1975 or the Uttar Pradesh Participatory Irrigation Management Act, 2009 or in any other law of the State for the time being in force including the provisions of a Central.
