<span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><b>88.</b> (1) It shall be necessary for the transaction of any business other than business which is required to be by a special resolution that not less than one-third of the total number of members of the Municipality for the time being shall be present.<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(2) It shall be necessary for the transaction of business which is required to be transacted by special resolution that not less than one half of such members shall be present :<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(3) Provided that when it is necessary to postpone any business at a meeting for want of the prescribed quorum, the <b>¹</b>[President] after the transaction of such business as can be transacted, shall adjourn the meeting to another date, and the business postponed for want of the prescribed quorum shall be transacted on such date, or in the event of a further adjournment of the meeting to a subsequent date, on such subsequent date, notwithstanding any deficiency in the number of members present. <br>
