Constitution of the Executive Council

§14

Summary

(1) The Executive Council shall consist of the following members, namely :— (i) the 2[Vice-Chancellor] ; (ii) Three members of the General Council to be 3[nominated by the Chairperson of the General Council] ; 4[(ii-a) The Chairman, Bar Council of India, or his nominee.]; (iii) The Chairman of the State Bar Council, Uttar Pradesh ; (iv) The Secretary-in-charge of Judicial Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh ; (v) The Secretary-in-charge of Finance Department Government of Uttar Pradesh ; (vi) The Secretary-in-charge of Higher Education Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh ; (vii) Two eminent educationists 3[nominated by the Chairperson of the General Council]; (viii) Two persons of social eminence 5[nominated by the Chairperson of the General Council]; (ix) Two 6[Senior Professors] of the 1[University], by rotation according to seniority. (2) The 3[Vice-Chancellor] shall be the 2[Chairperson] of Executive Council and the Registrar shall be the Secretary of the Executive Council.

(1) The Executive Council shall consist of the following members, namely :—<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(i) the <sup>2</sup>[Vice-Chancellor] ; <br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(ii) Three members of the General Council to be <sup>3</sup>[nominated by the Chairperson of the General Council] ; <br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><sup>4</sup>[(ii-a) The Chairman, Bar Council of India, or his nominee.]; <br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(iii) The Chairman of the State Bar Council, Uttar Pradesh ; <br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(iv) The Secretary-in-charge of Judicial Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh ; <br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(v) The Secretary-in-charge of Finance Department Government of Uttar Pradesh ; <br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(vi) The Secretary-in-charge of Higher Education Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh ; <br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(vii) Two eminent educationists <sup>3</sup>[nominated by the Chairperson of the General Council]; <br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(viii) Two persons of social eminence <sup>5</sup>[nominated by the Chairperson of the General Council]; <br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(ix) Two <sup>6</sup>[Senior Professors] of the <sup>1</sup>[University], by rotation according to seniority. <br> (2) The <sup>3</sup>[Vice-Chancellor] shall be the <sup>2</sup>[Chairperson] of Executive Council and the Registrar shall be the Secretary of the Executive Council. <br>
