(1) The Governor may specify the zone to be an industrial township in accordance with the provisions of Article 243 Q of the Constitution of India. (2) The Special Economic Zone shall cease to be under the jurisdiction of, a municipality constituted under the Rajasthan Municipalities Act, 2009 (Act No. 18 of 2009) or, as the case may be, a Panchayati Raj Institution constituted under the Rajasthan Panchayati Raj Act, 1994 (Act No. 13 of 1994) with effect from the date of the issuance of a notification under sub-section (1).
