(1) The Uttar Pradesh State Universities Ordinance, 1973, is hereby repealed. (2) Notwithstanding any such repeal, anything done or any action taken under the Ordinance shall subject to the provisions of sub-section (3) of section 72, be deemed to have been done or taken under this Act as if this Act had commenced on the 18th day of June 1973.
