45-A. Penalty for contravening provisions of Section 5. - (1) Any person contravening the provisions of Section 5(1)(c)(i) shall, on conviction by a Court of competent jurisdiction, be liable to a fine not exceeding rupees one thousand. (2) A transfer made in contravention of the provisions of Section 5(1)(c)(ii) shall not be valid or recognized; anything contained in any other law for the time being in force to the contrary notwithstanding.
