44. Delegation. - The State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, and subject to such restrictions and conditions as may be specified in the notification : (i) delegate to any officer or authority any of the powers conferred upon it by this Act; and (ii) confer powers of the Director of Consolidation, Deputy Director, Consolidation, the Settlement Officer, Consolidation, and the Consolidation Officer under this Act or the rules made thereunder, on any officer or authority.
<b>44.
