Power to make rules

<span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>39. (1) The State Government may by notification in the <i>Gazette</i>, make rules to carry out the purposes of this Act.<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(2) without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing power, such rules may provide for all or any of the following matters, namely :-<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(a) the terms and conditions of the office of the member as required by sub-section (4) of section 3 and sub-section (3) of section 6;<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(b) the form and manner in which notice under subsection (1) of section 17 and sub-section (2) of section 19 shall be published ;<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(c) the manner in which notice under sub-section (1) of section 18 shall be published;<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(d) any other matter which is to be, or may be prescribed or in respect of which provision is to be, or may be made by rules. <br><br>
