6. (1) For the efficient discharge of its functions, the Authority may in consultation with the Central government in the Ministry of Forest and Environment, appoint technical advisors from amongst experts in the fields of- (a) Environment Management, (b) Environment Geology, (c) Eco-System Planning, (d) Integrated Energy Planning, (e) Social Science, (f) Forest Ecology. (2) The powers, duties and functions of the technical advisors, and the terms and conditions of their appointment shall be such as may be determined by the regulations.
