3-B. Where on the date immediately preceding the date of the commencement of the Uttar Pradesh Industrial Disputes (Amendment) Act, 1950, any person was, in pursuance of an order made under clause (f) of section 3, exercising control over any public utility service or any subsidiary undertaking, he shall, notwithstanding anything in the said clause or section 3-A, be deemed from the commencement of the said Act to have been a person validity authorized under and in accordance with section 3-A and the order aforesaid shall have effect as if it were an order duly or validly passed under section 3-A. ]1 4.
