(1) The Finance Committee shall consist of- (a) the Director who shall also be the Chairman of the Committee; 1[ (b) Secretary to the Government of Uttar Pradesh in the Department of Medical Education.] (c) Secretary to the Government of Uttar Pradesh in the Departments of Finance, or his nominee; (d) two persons to be nominated by the Governing Body from its members; (e) the Executive Registrar; (f) the Finance Officer who shall also be the Secretary of the Committee. (2) The Finance Committee shall advice the Governing Body on matters relating to the administration of property and funds of the Institute including limits for and principles to be observed with regard to the recurring and non-recurring expenditure for the ensuing financial year, having regard to the income and resources of the Institute. (3) The Finance Committee shall have such other powers and duties as may be prescribed.
