(1) 1[Any registered company or a registered trust] society or a local authority running an existing school may, at its option apply for up-gradation of the school on self-financed basis under this Act and shall abide by the orders or directions issued by the State Government in this regard. (2) The Director or an officer nominated by the Director may during working hours enter and inspect such school as and when required and forward the inspection report to the State Government.
