Punishment for non-compliance with other provisions.- Any person who contravenes any of the provisions of this Act for which no other punishment has been provided for in this Act, shall on conviction, 2[be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to six months or 3[with fine of not less than two thousand rupees and not more than five thousand rupees or with both].]
