(1) This Act may be called 1[the Maharashtra Entertainments Duty Act.] 2[(2) It extends to the whole of the 3[State of Maharashtra]]. 4[(3) It shall be deemed to have come into operation in the whole of the State of Maharashtra on the 1st day of January 1984.]
