Save as otherwise expressly provided in this Chapter, the provisions of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 (V of 1908), shall apply to all proceedings under this Chapter: Provided that, the Court may, in a proper case and on such terms as may appear to it to be just, exercise its powers to add or strike out parties under rule 10 of Order I in the First Schedule to the said Code in any proceeding pending before it under section 24 or 35 notwithstanding the fact that in the former case such addition, or striking out of parties is to be made after the date specified in section 24 has elapsed.
