(1) On the appointed day, every small farmer undergoing detention in a civil prison in execution of any decree for money passed by a civil court in respect of his debt shall be released. (2) No small farmer shall in any case be liable to arrest or detention in civil prison in execution of any such decree as is referred to in sub-section (1) 1[during the period this Chapter remains in force.]
