1[CHAPTER V-A ADJUSTMENT OF DEBTS OF CERTAIN FARMERS AND WORKERS 22. Commencement of Chapter V-A.- The provisions of this Chapter shall come into force on the date of commencement of the Maharashtra Debt Relief (Amendment) Act, 1979 (Mah. XVIII of 1979) (hereinafter in this Chapter referred to as "the date of commencement of this Chapter") and shall have effect notwithstanding anything inconsistent therewith contained in Chapters IV and V.
