(1) A licence granted under section 6 shall be valid for such period, as may be prescribed, and may on application made in that behalf and upon payment of the prescribed fees, be renewed, from time to time, by the Licensing Officer for such further period as may be prescribed. (2) No licence granted under this Act shall be renewed if it appears to the Licensing Officer that-- (a) any of the grounds mentioned in sub-section (2) of section 6 exists ; (b) the licensee is guilty of breach of the provisions of this Act or the rules made thereunder ; (c) that the application involves a breach of any direction issued by the State Government under section 44.
