(1) The Board shall discharge the following duties and functions, namely :- (a) to advise the State Government on policy matters relating to the licensing of cold storages and matters connected therewith; (b) to make suggestions to the State Government in respect of scientific planning, maintenance, development and expansion of cold storages and to suggest proper steps for co-ordination of cold storage facilities in the State ; (c) to advise the State Government in the matter of fixation, from time to time, of maximum charges for storing agricultural produce in the cold storage; and (d) to advise the State Government on such other matters as may be referred to the Board by the State Government, or as may be prescribed. (2) The business of the Board shall be conducted in such manner as may be prescribed
