(1) The Government or the State Authority may issue a proclamation directing a lock-down on such conditions as may be specified in the proclamation. (2) A District Authority may also issue a lock-down order as mentioned in subsection (1) to be effective in whole or in any part of the District . (3) An order under this section may be directed to a particular individual, or to persons residing in a particular place or area, or to the public generally when frequenting or visiting a particular place or area. (4) No order under this section shall remain in force for more than the period a proclamation of epidemic under section 3 remains in force.
