(1) The Executive Committee, 1[the Development Committee, the Ward Committees] or any Committee appointed under clause (e) of section 5 or a Joint Committee may appoint one or more sub-committees for any purpose with which it is entitled to deal and which, in its opinion, can be more usefully carried out by a subcommittee. (2) A sub-committee appointed under sub-section (1) shall possess such powers and perform such duties and functions as the Committee appointing it may from time to time delegate or confer.
