1[135.(1) The 2[Municipal Commissioner] may sanction any estimate the amount of which does not exceed 3[ten lakh rupees] ; 4[* * *] 5[(1-A) the Mayor may sanction any estimate not exceeding 6ic0560fifteen lakh rupees.] (2) The Executive Committee may sanction any estimate the amount of which does not exceed 7[twenty lakh rupees.] 8[(3) The State Government may, by notification in the Gazette, modify the monetary limits specified in sub-section (1) or sub-section (2) keeping in view the rise of costs or the exigencies of the work and efficiency of Corporation.]
